Santa Sotera

Young Sotéria, from a noble family but with a humble spirit, dedicated her life to works of charity. She was arrested in the year 304, during Diocletian's persecutions. Whipped by her executioners, she courageously offered her face, which was beaten with ferocity; She was beheaded for not denying her faith.
