Family Life of Francisco Paleari

Francisco Paleari was born in Pogliano Milanese, Italy, on October 22, 1863. He was the second-to-last of eight children in a humble family, which did not have the financial resources to send him to the diocesan seminary . However, the young man managed to fulfill his priestly vocation at the Little House of Providence in Turin and was ordained a priest on September 18, 1886.

Priestly Life of Francisco Paleari

During his life, Francisco Paleari was an exemplary priest. Gifted with a vast culture, he was a tireless apostle in tasks of great responsibility, as teacher, confessor, spiritual director, preacher and general leader of the archdiocese of Turin. His simple and charming spirit manifested itself through small sweet events.

Prayer and Charity

Francisco Paleari's faith was sustained by prayer and devotion to the Holy Spirit, the Eucharist and the Virgin Mary. He was a man of charity, dedicating much of his life to the Little House, visiting the sick and offering comfort. His mercy in confession was unlimited. He was concerned with preparing prisoners for Easter and advised both priests and lay people.

Preparing for Heaven

Francisco Paleari accepted his long illness with the certainty of being able to unite his sufferings with those of Christ for the good of the Church and the hope of achieving eternal reward at the end of his life. He was called to the Lord on May 7, 1939.

Francisco Paleari was a man of faith, prayer and charity. He was an exemplary priest, dedicating his life to God and others with simplicity and sweetness.
